Strong willingness to learn, decision making skills and the ability to achieve results are needed. A basic list of duties and requirements are below:


POSITION SUMMARY :


Guide customers through the automotive/vehicle purchase process by understanding customer needs and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features of vehicles to meet those needs. Automotive Sales Representatives are also responsible for developing new customers, cultivating leads, and closing sales.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :



  • Demonstrates high moral and ethical standards in all aspects

  • Self-motives to achieve performance and sales goals

  • Works to establish Automotive Sales leads and opportunities

  • Understands vehicles by studying characteristics, capabilities, features, and by comparing and contrasting competitive models.

  • Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers, suggesting trade-ins, meeting prospects at community activities, greeting drop-ins, responding to inquiries, recommending sales campaigns and promotions.

  • Connects with customers by understanding their interests and requirements; and matching these qualifiers to various models.

  • Demonstrates vehicles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features, taking drives, explaining warranties and services.

  • Closes car sales by overcoming objections, asking for sales, completing sales or purchase contracts, explaining provisions, explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing, collects payment, delivers automobile.

  • Completes all necessary deal paperwork in a timely and organized manner.

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and utilizing professional publications.

  • Enhances automotive dealership reputation by exploring opportunities to add value to the customer experience.
